Hi,
What does "IDS BASE MODEL" mean?
For example, for HP the "HP EliteBook 850 G6 Notebook PC" and "HP EliteBook 850 G6 Notebook PC IDS Base Model" are two separate products. I would like to understand the difference.
Regards
Michal

Base model is pretty straightforward.
I have asked our internal contacts to find out what HP's IDS acronym stands for.
I will get back to you on this. That is a reasonable question.
It has been asked before without anyone replying.

The reply from an HP Subject matter Expert, derived from a colleague's knowledge, was
"International Direct Shipments (IDS) - IDS is a WW (world wide) SKU (stock keeping number)and is international direct ship to customer"
Now we all know.
Thank you for asking.

I told you what my Official HP contacts said in my previous post in this thread.
