Product: HP ENVY Laptop PC 17t-cg100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Trying to add a drive to my laptop and after I purchased a Samsung 870 EVO I realized I didn't have a SATA cable to connect to the motherboard. My laptop is a HP ENVY Laptop PC 17t-cg100 CTO and I just need to know what SATA cable will work in my laptop.

According to the service manual (on page 21), the hard drive cable's part number is L87952-001. You can get one from online vendors, such as eBay and Amazon.

Pages 35-36 of the manual indicates you also need two brackets to secure the hard drive to the chassis, but their part number is not shown.
