HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 (169W8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I bought my HP Envyx360 laptop just over 2 years ago, but the rubber feet on the bottom of the laptop started peeling off a few months ago. However, they are more than just peeling at the edges now, and the middle of one foot has peeled off, so I wish to re-glue them on so they do not peel off more or become stretched/damaged. But, I do not know which glue to use as I don't want to damage my laptop or the feet. Does anyone know what type of glue should be used to re-glue the rubber feet on? Also, is there anything I should do or use to clean the old glue and any dirt or skin oils off of the feet and the laptop where the feet sit ?

P.S. The current glue (which is no longer very sticky) is slightly brown. I don't know if this is helpful to identify the type of glue, or if it's just a visual sign that the glue isn't working anymore. Thanks!
