I updated to a new bios on an Elitebook notebook, from version 01.06 to 01.14.00 and then I checked the bios update again I saw:

 

New BIOS Available.

Current Bios Version: 01.14.00

Rollback Version: 01.13.01

Update type: Important

Would you like to install it now?

Button: Rollback to 01.13.01

 

This is kind of confusing. Can anyone explain me if this all makes sense? I don't understand why the system sees this as an update when its a rollback?

 

And when I clicked the button it displayed an even more serious message saying "a request to rollback to an older version of bios is pending. The older bios may have security of functional issues. " with a question to approve the change...
