That means you can install any of the Intel Sandy Bridge (2nd generation core) processors listed in chapter 1 of the service manual--the best one being the Intel Core i7-2620M processor.

You can definitely install the i5-2540M because it is listed as a supported processor on page 2 of the service manual.
Theoretically, the i7-2640M should also work, but since it is not listed in the service manual, I can't 100% guarantee that it will.
