HP DV6 2155dx Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Want to add more ram to my HP DV6 2155dx notebook PC with Intel i3 processor.

Believe it has two DDR3 SO laptop ram slots.  There are presently two sticks of 2GB of (DDR3 dual channel ram?) installed.

OS is Windows 10 64bit Home Edition.

Questions:

1) What is the maximum amount of ram that is supported in this notebook PC?

2) Does it need dual channel ram or would it also take the newer "lite" laptop ram?

3) Will this HP laptop support 2x8GB of ram for a total of 16GB?

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions. Cheers! 🙂
