Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Community,

I've recovered an old laptop, which I would like to improve for a needy friend, its an HP G7091EA ,

To check functionality, I've installed Win10 64bit and its working.  At present it has 2 x 1gb ram cards installed.

Please what would be the maximum ram size and type I could install.??

Thank you

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook:

HP PartSurfer

Since it has an Intel GL960 chipset, you are already at the maximum of 2 x 1 GB.

Thank you so much for your assistance.  I must admit that it's a shame I can't upgrade  but it's still running.

Thank you

You're very welcome.

Yes, 2 GB of memory is not enough nowadays with programs using more memory than in the old days.
