ZBook Firefly 14 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

I'm extremely interested in buying the ZBook Firefly 14 G7. I'd like to know what sort of Intel JHL thunderbolt 3 controller it features, so as to find out if version 1.2 or 1.4 of DisplayPort is supported.

I've looked EVERYWHERE including the most detailed specs (https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c06647615.pdf) but I can't find it.

If any one of you has the laptop (or the 15'' version) please be so kind as to look it up in device manager or systeminfo.

If you cannot find it (some controllers appear as "Thunderbolt 3 (15D2)" you can download and run HWInfo64 and get something like that (https://ibb.co/phhc0MN)

Thank you in advance for your time.

Regards,

Andreas

@banhien

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Are you 100% sure this is the one? Just double checking because i was really hoping they'd implement one of the JHL7340/7440/7540 so as to support DisplayPort v 1.4...

If i am not mistaken you cannot have an HDR10 output signal via the laptop as it stands, right ? (since neither HDMI 1.4 nor DisplayPort 1.2 support HDR)
