HI! I have a new HP Pavilion notebook, 15-cs3153cl, the product number is 1G131UA#ABA. the system board is: 86AB 95.32. I currently have a 4 gig card in slot one and a 8 gig card in slot 2. Can anyone tell me the maximum RAM the system is capable of? I have searched the user manual and there is nothing about memory upgrades.
Thank you.

This Manual from the predecessor 15-cs2xxx series is posted by HP on your product homepage. The layout of the laptops is the same so the Service Manual does provide correct upgrade and repair steps for your laptop.
See p. 56
User Manual would not have anything about upgrades. You will see that the Manual says 16 gigs is the Max. Not so. It is actually 2 x 16 = 32 gigs. And your laptop with the 10th gen processor uses DDR4-2666 So-DIMM. So to maximize memory you need to remove the two existing modules and replace with a pair of 16 gig modules such as these:

Huffer:
Thank you for the quick response and all the information provided. I am not sure the maintenance manual you linked to is the correct version, as my model does not appear in the Table 1-1 and my CPU is not listed. The CPU is an Intel i5-1035G1 @ 1 GHz.
Given this, is your analysis still correct?
Many thanks!!
