Hello all!
I currently have a laptop equipped with 4GB 1pc of RAM.
HP 250 G3
Motherboard model: HP 2211 (U3E1)
CPU: Intel Core i3-4005U CPU @ 1.70GHz
I want to get myself 8GB stick of RAM to be 12GB in total. To do this, I need to figure out the RAM voltage that my laptop support, so I can buy one to works properly in my laptop.
This is what I know about my current 4GB stick:
Manufacturer: SK Hynix
Type: DDR3
Speed: 1600 MHz
Part ID: HMT451S6BFR8A-PB
I disassembled my laptop, I have noticed there is something on the plastic RAM slot in the motherboard where the RAM goes that says "1.5V". I don't know what it means.
And also here is a screenshot from CPU-Z :
so now my question is does my laptop support "DDR3 1.5V" or just "DDR3L 1.35V" ?

Hi:
You want to use DDR3L-1600 (1.35V) memory in your notebook.
Here is the link to the Crucial memory report for your model notebook.

The first chip listed on the page is what you want to get. CT102464BF160B
