What is the battery for HP 15-da0014dx and where can I order it from?

I need to replace the battery in my HP 15-da0014dx laptop but I'm not sure what the correct battery is for this model. I've searched the hp parts store for the batteries for this model and they don't have any in store. I would like to know this and also what vendors I can order it from.

The battery shows as normally available from HP in PartSurfer - USA- Part L11119-855

Checking the Parts Store for  L11119-855 shows the item is out of stock.

You may purchase your battery from a merchant of your choice.

I found reference to this battery at several sites, including eBay, Amazon, Walmart, and Newegg.

I have not checked inventories for you at any site.  I believe Merchant selection is something best done by the person making the purchase.  Another Expert might wish to suggest a specific site.

Thank you, I found the battery in partsurfer. However, the link to the service guide which has the replacement procedure did not open. Could you please direct me to the replacement guide?

Yes, I noticed the link to the service guide is acting strange.

I figured it is just my Firefox - I bang and slam so much onto the browser all the time that it does occasional glitch until I clear out the cookies.  I opened the document manually (searching for the document name) and then ignored it..

Try using something other than Firefox.

Try searching for c06510442 and then opening the page you find in Google search.

Try clearing your browser cookies.

Try pasting the path into a blank tab:  http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06510442
