I want to replace the battery of my HP laptop which has model No: HSTNN-LB6V. But, Iam unable to find it in the HP website. But, I found a battery with model No: HS04 whose specifications matches with my original battery.

I was wondering if both of them are same and  whether I can use that HS04 battery to replace my original battery.

HP uses few different codes for its products. For EACH product you can see  model code, product code, product number ... therefore you can see many confusions from users/customers.

 

You machine uses the following battry

 

   Battery pack - 4-cell lithium-ion (Li-Ion), 2.8Ah, 41Wh (HS04041-CL) part # 807957-001

 

You won't go wrong with  part # 807957-001
