Product: BS658TU and DA0296TU

What is the difference between various HP laptop series like BS, BU and DA?

 

For a few models like BS658TU and DA0296TU, the entire configuration seems to be same apart from Bluetooth which is 4 and 4.2 version in both the models respectively.

 

Is there any specific reason based on which these series can be differentiated?

The main difference between the 2 is Display, Wireless connectivity and External ports

Its just Bluetooth (4 vs 4.2) and nothing else considering the configuration. The display is same, apart from a minor change in design of edges (nothing technical). Also, its same in terms of ports.

 

Though I am not sure about basic difference between these series (BS, BU, DA etc.). If someone can help with basic technical difference between them will be great.
