I would like to purchase a micro SD card for my laptop. What is the largest micro SD card it can read?

That is a good question.
The highest capacity SD card I have used in my laptops so far is 128GB, but a 256GB Ultra UHS-1 MicroSD card will work. They are also useful it you want to put a Linux OS on them.
It is highly recommended to use only UHS-1 or Class 10 Extreme sd cards, otherwise you will find out just how slow they can be.
