HP Recommended

I would like to upgrade the RAM for HP Laptop 17-by4075CL (Product No. 2N3N2UA.  What is the maximum GB RAM that can be installed and what manufacturer is recommended?  Current memory is 8 GB DDR4-2666 MHz RAM (2 x 4 GB)   Thank you.

HP Recommended

The Crucial memory report for your notebook indicates that it will support 2 x 32 GB of memory.

 

HP - Compaq HP 17-by4075cl | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com

 

HP only has the service manual for the 17-by1xxx model series so the memory info in that manual is most likely not accurate.

 

HP 17 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide

 

The DDR4-3200 memory will automatically bridge to 2666 MHz.
