Hi,

Your PC supports max 16 GB of DDR3L 1600MHz RAM (2x8GB)

There are two slots and the notebook came with one 4GB module. You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

Example:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-15-e021tx#MEMORYFilters

You should consider replacxing the hard drive with an SATA3 SSD which would give great performance boost

Hope it helps,

David
