I have a HP ENVY Laptop PC 17m-cg1013dx. What is the maximum memory it will support?
It seems to have a 8 GB 3200MHz 1.2v DDR4 memory card and a 4 GB DDR4-3200 1.2v card.
I would like to update to at least 32 GB. Is there a specific part#, brand, etc. I should look for?
I know a lot about pc's/laptops and troubleshooting problems but I am dumb as a rock when it comes
to memory cards and what to get!
Thanks in advance!!!

HP only has the service manual for the previous model series available.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP ENVY 17 Laptop PCHP ENVY 17m Laptop PC
According to chapter 1 of that manual the notebook can support 2 x 16 GB of memory.
I recommend Crucial memory because they indicate part numbers that are compatible with your notebook.
