Hello there!

 

What is the maximum ram memory capacity for Hp Pavilion 15-n055sm? I now have 6 gb ddr3 (1x2 gb, 1x4 gb) ?

HP Recommended

Manual says max 12 gigs. That would be 4 + 8 of DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM. However, it has been repeatedly shown that, with the AMD A10 APU, it will run 8 + 8 = 16 gb just fine. It has a memory access door on the back so the upgrade process is very easy. Post back if there are any other questions.
