The spec I need to get are:

1. M.2 SATA-3 right?

2. Type of keying M key, B key or B+M key?

3. PCI Express 2x or 4x is not applicable for my case right?

4. Maximun lenght of ssd (2232 to 22110) Which one to chooce for lenght of 50.8mm?

That chart comes from page 71 of the Manual here:

Manual

It's odd because the laptop uses M.2 B + M SATA 2280 disks.

M.2 location circledM.2 location circled

HP lists the part at the Parts Store as such:

GNRC SSD 512GB 2280 M2 SATA-3 TLC CAN

Don't pay $400+ for it you can use any M.2 B + M 2280 SATA disk for this purpose.

Post back with your country of residence and we can help you find one.

2 ways to install an M.2 disk....as shown in your picture INSTEAD OF the hard drive not under it by using an adapter board and cable.

OR

As shown in my picture IN ADDITION TO the hard drive using the slot dedicated for M.2. Note the specs allow for a dual drive configuration so there has to be a dedicated M.2 slot. Using that slot will only require you to maybe find a screw. Doing it the other way means buying in addition to the M.2 disk an adapter plate and cable which can cost $50 or more.

Is nvme m2 ssd same as the one I sata III M2 2280 ssd?

HP Recommended

No. They look similar but your laptop will not support a pcie/nvme M.2 disk it must be the SATA-3 kind. If it has 2 prongs with gold leads it is likely pcie/nvme and if it has 3 prongs (B + M keys) it is likely a SATA-3 module.

HP Recommended

Ok, after so research, M2 nvme run on pcie speed, M2 SATA 3 run on SATA 3 speed and sata3 port might not able to read pcie ssd (NVMe) but pcie port sure can read sata3 ssd.

Thanks
