Hey, I had lost my charger for my laptop. I did some research and I was wondering if I need a 65w or a 90w charger. I do see 18.5vdc 19.0vdc 4.74a on the back but couldn't figure out what the proper wattage I was looking for in a charger. Thank you!

Hi,

What is yours now ? 65W or 90W ?

  • If 65W you can use 90W given voltage within +/- 5%.
  • If 90W you may be able to use 65W again voltage within +/- 5%.

I actually use 65W, 90W and 120W for more than half of my laptops depending on where I am. I prefer to use higher wattage chargers and only use lower wattage chargers when travelling because they are smaller and lighter.

Regards.

Not sure. I had never actually looked at the wattage.
