Hello all.

 

Just wondering what the empty space is above my hard drive? (See picture below) I was putting in a new SSD cause my old hard drive bit the bullet and I noticed the empty slot with a cable going to it.  Is there something that I can put in there.  I'm always looking for new upgrades 🙂  Thanks.

From the image, looks like it is for an ODD (CD/DVD drive) but your machine should have one already. Its specs

Does it actually have one ?

Oh ha.  yeah, it does.

That picture was from a while ago and I saw that empty space and thought it was for something.  But now that I think about it I did have to take the Cd drive out to get to the hard drive.  nevermind then.
