HP Pavilion - 15-bc201nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'd like to upgrade my Notebook HP Pavilion - 15-bc201nl  hard drive adding an SSD M.2, what are some of the things I should be looking for?

Which kind of connectors M2 NVMe should I be using:

An type  B?

An type  M?

Or an type B+M?

Which kind of size of M2 NVMe should I buy?

2242 - 2260 or 2280?

Could you link me some M2 NVMe compatible models?

Thanks

Xibral

Here is the Service Manual:

Manual

See pages 4 and 5 for info related to your model. This Manual covers several model series.

Your laptop accepts a PCIe/NVME 2280 form factor M.2 disk or a SATA-3 M.2 disk of the same size and shape. So either 3 prong (B + M) keyed disks or "M" key will fit in the M.2 slot.

"How to" starts on p. 37 and here is what you see inside when you get the back cover off:

Left to right: RAM, M.2, HDDLeft to right: RAM, M.2, HDD

The blank space on the lower right is the battery and the upgradeable components are marked above.

Samsung Evo 960 is an option:
