HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0000 (9WF73AV)

I bought a new charger recently because the one that came with my laptop has broken, thinking it was the same kind I had already. However, it isn't, this new charger I bought doesnt charge my laptop well at all. At most it can only slow down my laptop's battery draining, If i want my laptop to get anywhere above 70% i would have to turn it off, which isnt very convenient when I'm in a rush to finish work occasionally. When I search for a similar charge I dont get similar results to my old one, so can I have some guidance on what kind of charger I should have for my laptop?

@Bbblue0,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Whilst @pbroussard correctly mentioned the three 45/65-watt chargers as referenced in the manual, I would recommend a blue-tip 90-watt charger compatible with your laptop, such as this purchase example: https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-741727-001-740015-001-740015-002-740015-003/dp/B079FN6PV6/ref=sr_1....

Reason being that a 90-watt charger 'runs' cooler and provides (much) better charging capabilities than a lower wattage rated charger.
