HP G62 laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am looking to upgrade from 4mg of memory to 8mg of memory. Can you direct me to the exact memory that will work with this laptop, preferably on Amazon.

LD 641AD is not a recognized HP Product number. And there are lots of G62 models.

Really sorry! The product number is LD641AV for the G62 Laptop.

Its DDR3-1066 memory. Here is the Service Manual:

I'm assuming you have an Intel Core first generation processor. Such as i5-540M. As such it is very important to get low density dual rank memory. Like this:

8 gb is max memory on that system or 2 x 4. So if you already have a single 4 gb you just add this in the open slot. If you have 2 x 2 you will have to discard and install 2 of these.

See p. 4-10.

Thank you for the quick response. The CPU is Intel i3 M350@2.27. Will the memory stick you suggested be appropriate for this CPU? Thanks in advance.

Yes its a first gen Intel Core so the same memory will work.
