I want to upgrade my laptop and want to know if AMD Ryzen processors are compatible with this laptop (such as Ryzen 7, Ryzen 9, etc.) What upgrades are available for this board and what other setup would be required?

Hi:

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless the entire motherboard is replaced by one listed in your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

There's an article I read online that says something about AMD4 or AM4 motherboards or something like that that says it's compatible with multiple Ryzen processors but I don't know which.

The article your read probably pertains to desktop PC's not notebooks.

Here is the link to the service manual.

Chapter 3 has the list of parts.

You will find no processors listed separately as parts.

You will find a list of motherboards equipped with processors.

Chapter 5 has the component removal and replacement procedures.

You will see that there is no procedure to remove or replace a processor.
