HP 15-bs013nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear community,

My laptop is an HP 15-bs013nl

It has 12 GB of RAM DDR4 2400T, and I would like to add more RAM.

It has a 1x4GB module and a 1x8GB module.

Can I install 2x16GB modules or 2x32GB modules?

If not, is it possible to use 2x8GB modules?

Do you have a link to the product manual? I could not find it.

Thank you

I installed 2x16GB of memory and the system correctly recognized it.

I also installed a SATA SSD. Watch out: the slot does not support NVME drives. The pins differ.

Go to this link and download the Crucial System Scanner.

https://www.crucial.com/store/systemscanner

Run the app and the scan should tell you the capacity of memory your computer can use.

When running that application, it opens a web page and then it fails with error 500.

Any alternative?

edit: I have found a link to some manuals:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-bs000-laptop-pc/15551412/model/17132999/manuals

These specify that the laptop supports modules of 2, 4 and 8 GB.

But I wonder if one could use 16GB modules, too. And, potentially, two of them. Any intel?
