HP Laptop 15-ef0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After my laptop stopped having the capacity to charge after 86%, and then 83%, and now 70%, I find myself in need of a replacement battery. The current battery is the factory battery. I've never had to get a new battery before, but I checked online for batteries specific to my product number, but can't find any that match it. Does anyone know where I can find out what kind of battery I need and where to get it?

Edit to add:

I've already run a diagnostic test to confirm that it's a battery failure.

Can you post the full model number? I can't get a service manual with 15-ef0xxx.

That's all it says when I look up the system information. The only other numbers I see are:

System SKU 9YF67UA#ABA

Serial [Personal Information Removed]

Thank you for helping me!

Here's the service manual- Service Manual  On page 24 it shows HP part # L11119-855 for the battery. . Use that to search HP PartSurfer, google it for resellers, try Amazon or eBay are other options. Try and get a HP part, the age of the laptop may leave you with no other option than a generic replacement battery, but they are less in price. Read reviews of the product if you want to go generic. There are some decent ones, and a lot of junk ones.
