A couple observations: 1) processor. Get an AMD Ryzen or Intel Core model (i3 or better). Stay away from the really low end of the curve.-Celeron and Pentium 2. Get a solid state drive at least 500 gb. You need storage and speedy performance. 3. Get the screen size you need for your work, balanced with portability. I find a 14 inch model is just right for me. Big enough to work with, small enough to carry around. You may want to go bigger or smaller. 4. At least 8 gb of memory with a strong preference for 16 gb. 5. Screen resolution at least FHD (1920 x 1080 or 1080p) 6. Good wireless....5ghz band available. 6th gen (wifi 6). The video card of the laptop is not too important to you. An integrated card will be fine. If your sister is creating animation content she needs a laptop with a powerful dedicated video card and 32 gigs of RAM...like a mobile workstation. You can get by for probably $800 US equivalent. She needs to think in terms of spending a couple thousand. If you want a detailed rec, tell me the screen size you want to have and I will oblige.
