My 675 GB hard drive is almost full. I'd like to upgrade it but want to know what's the largest hard drive I can replace the original with. I'd appreciate any specific information you could provide (i.e., make, model, size).
The product I.D. of my laptop is 00258-61655-74583-AAOEM.
Thank you.

Hi,
Can you provide the exact model or product number (not serial) for further help. Here is how to find it.
Usuall the max will be 2TB because of the thickness of the drives which have more than 2TB. The notebooks will usually only support drives up to 9.5mm thickness.
You can use any 2.5" SATA3 HDD such as Seagate, WD...
If you use a 2.5" SATA3 SSD there is no limit to capacity as the dimensions of the drive are always the same.
Hope it helps,
David
