What screwdriver do I need to open my HP Envy 17.3in Laptop, Model No is 537Z4AV.

The tools you need to open up your notebook can be found in the service manual in chapter 4:

 

Maintenance and Service Guide

 

Below is the link to the service teardown video, which may also be of help to you.

 

The video mentions a different type of screw to remove from the bottom cover--a Torx T5 screwdriver is required.

Thanks for the prompt response.

 

My laptop is not booting up and reports Hard Disk missing 3F0. I followed the suggestion and reset the boot options but issue is still there. I think the SSD drive is faulty and needs to be replaced.

 

What is the maximum size of SSD that is supported on the HP Envy 17.3in laptop (purchased  in Oct 2023).

You're very welcome.

 

The parts list for your notebook indicates that HP offered a 512 GB and a 1 GB Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD for your notebook's product number.

If you wanted to install a larger capacity Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD than 1 TB that should be fine -- up to 4 TB as long as the drive is single-sided.
