Hi:

Your notebook's M.2 slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0.

A PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from a PCIe Gen 3.0 slot.

The most you could expect would be around 3,500 MBPS.

There aren't that many 2 TB PCIe Gen 3.0 SSD's out there, so I recommend you buy a PCIe Gen 4.0 drive and in the future you can transfer it to newer PC that has a PCIe Gen 4.0 slot.

I recommend either the Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB or the newer Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB.

If you want a budget priced 2 TB PCie Gen 4.0 drive which also performs well, look into the Western Digital Blue SN580 2 TB.
