Not really...the only thing is to make sure you understand which disk is the source and which is the target in the Macrium GUI so you do not mess up and format the original disk. Good luck.

Huffer,

 

Cloned the SSD and swapped the 2 drives to where SSD is boot drive. Was surprised at how fast cloning is....it took only 20 minutes or so.  I didn't blow out Win 10 on the hard drive (now in second bay). You mentioned getting rid of Win 10 but the laptop boots up fine. Just curious on why the need to do this if it is working fine.

Wasted space for one thing. The Windows installation on the second drive is doing nothing.
