Hi All,
Hope you are well.
I would like to use a Cat 8 ethernet cable, on my HP Envy x360 -15-w050sa (Energy Star).
However, I cannot correctly identify my LAN, therefore I cannot determine which Cat 8 type of ethernet cable I should choose.
Does anyone know what type of LAN I have and could I use a Cat 8 ethernet cable ? I have attached some pictures. It also seems to be upside down.

Your machine has Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN. Normal CAT5e or CAT6 cable will do the job. I think CAT8 cable is over killed and this may not work because it is backward compatible with CAT6A.
But you can always try, it WON'T make your connection faster (if it worked).
Regards.
