HP Notebook - 15g-dr0006tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased this HP Notebook - 15g-dr0006tx. I wanted to know if I wish to upgrade my storage  by adding an SSD what are my options?
Do I need to by a m.2 SATA III ssd or are there other options?

Please help.

Thanks.

The series has the following options for dual storage

Dual storage configurations (Intel Core processors):
256 GB, PCIe, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive
256 GB, SATA-3, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive
128 GB, SATA-3, TLC, solid-state drive + 1 TB, 5400 rpm hard drive

That means the M.2 slot supports both types of M.2 SSD's but it may not run at full PCIe speed.

Regards.
