Microsoft Windows 11

I have HP Pavilion ec-0101ax 1TB HDD Model. It's extremely slow but now I want to install an SSD in my laptop

I wanted to confirm if PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 (2280) SSD will support my laptop or not.

Your notebook's M.2 SSD slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.

A Gen 4.0 SSD will work fine, but it will not run at its maximum advertised rea/write speeds from a Gem 3.0 SSD slot.
