I don't know what RAM to buy for Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fb0xxx. This seller I found offers brands like Samsung, Micron, SKHynix, and others but its all, 8GB ram 3200mhz so is that compatible with my current laptop? And is all ram built the same dimensions ( length x width)? Would appreciate if anyone can offer some insight because I am a noobie at this stuff!

Hi:
Based on the information you posted, below is the link to the parts list for your notebook:
It comes with 1 x 8 GB of memory, so you should just be able to install another 8 GB of memory in the empty slot.

Your notebook uses DDR4-3200 CL22 SODIMM memory.
How much memory does your notebook have and how much do you want to install?

I have currently 8GB installed. Not sure if it’s 2x4. Pretty sure it’s got 2 slots and one of them is occupied by the 8GB. I have not opened the back panel yet. I’m trying to get 16gb for entry level gaming experience and better performance when I am using editing software for school.

I should be able to let you know how the memory is installed (1 x 8 or 2 x 4), if you post the product number for your PC.
To find the product number for your PC, click on the search icon on your Windows taskbar.
Type: System Information
The System information app should show up.
Run the app and the product number of your PC will be found on the System SKU line about 1/4 of the way down on the report.
With the product number of your notebook, I can look up the parts list for it.

Ok! I’m currently not at home right now so this is what I have currently on my Microsoft account.

You're very welcome.
Chapter 4 of the service manual has the list of parts needed to work on the PC.
Tools required
You need the following tools to complete the removal and replacement procedures:
● Tweezers
● Nonconductive, nonmarking pry tool
● Magnetic Phillips P1 screwdriver
You may also want to buy a notebook pry tool kit to facilitate removing the bottom cover.
