HP 850

I'm trying to decide which computer to get and I only have experience with a three year old 850, which I believe was before the switch to a SSD. I'm definitely not impressed with this three old computer's performance and I'm wondering how much better the same computer is with a SSD, assuming this one doesn't already have one.

SSD was optional so you just need to look in the device manager under disk drives to see what you have. SSDs have been offered for way more than 3 years. The performance of any computer will be enhanced quite a lot by an SSD but the exact amount depends on what other hardware (CPU and memory and video) you have. There are multiple generations of the 850 and we can't even really tell without a full model or product number what hardware you are likely to have.
