- Where Can I Buy a Replacement Key and Hinge?

I (stupidly) took a key off of my hp envy 13-aq0502sa recently, and in doing so I snapped the keyboard hinge underneath.
The key is perfectly in tact, I just need a replacement hinge. But, when I look online, a lot of the clips look similar to mine but with subtle differences... It's really hard to know which/if any are right.
Could anybody advise me on where I can buy one of these clips in the UK? I have attached a photo of the broken clip, for reference.
Thank you in advance!

Yes its broken. Here's the problem. Single keys and support clips are not generally available as a replacement part. It requires a keyboard replacement and on most modern thin and light laptops it is a major job. Post back for more details if you want the whole story.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. Yes, I would appreciate further details.
The keyboard is fully functional and clips are available online, I am just struggling to find my specific one.
It seems unnecessary and costly to replace the entire keyboard for the sake of a small piece of plastic.
Please advise further, thank you.

It is difficult and costly. The problem is HP sources the keyboards from different vendors and keyboards used in the same model might be built differently. There is no cross-reference guide to be sure you are getting the right part. The support clips have no part number to refer to. The keyboard/top cover you need is L53415-301.
This seller parts out keyboards for profit and you might send the seller your picture and see if he can match. He likely has several keyboards in stock:
