As we all know this computer suffers from overheating issues regularly which I understand and have come to terms with. Something happened recently where the computer has overheated to the point it completely caused the rubber adhesive holding the feet to my laptop to become completely useless and have fallen off of my computer. They are 2 large rubber strips that kept them attached but now I can't keep them attached from the overheating ruining the adhesive. Is there any way I can get new replacement feet or better ones that can deal with the computer's regularly high temperatures?

Thank you,

Nick

Most of Envy owners are in your exact position - the ends of my rubber strip feet began lifting just a few months after I purchased the Envy at Costco. Heavy duty double sided tape helped a little initially, but not for long.

If you are within your 1 year warranty, HP should offer free replacement feet, but those will eventually lift off too. Outside the 1 year warranty, HP charges $19.63 plus $11.25 shipping for a SINGLE strip, thus 2 strips are $51 with shipping.  Robbery.

It's disappointing that companies don't stand by their products anymore.

I just purchased double-sided electronics tape from Amazon for $6 -

NIUTOP Double Side Adhesive Glue Tape For Repair Touch Screen Digitizer LCD Screen Display, 5mm

It is supposed to be heat resistant. Plan is to gently remove the rubber feet strips, remove any of the old residual adhesive remaining, then reapply the original rubber feet strips.

Wish me luck!
