Where are the drivers for the HP 15-f387wm?
HP used to have them on its website, but when I visit the link for "Welcome to Software and Drivers for HP Notebook - 15-f387wm (Touch) (ENERGY STAR)" I am informed that "There is no software or drivers available for your product."
Source: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-15-f300-notebook-pc-series-touch/model/10098384?sku=N5Y09UA
This is a recent change. Why were they removed? I need the updates (particularly the UEFI updates). I really like this machine.
Please let me know.

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It seems that HP has recently removed the drivers for the HP 15-f387wm from its official support page, which can happen as part of routine updates, changes in support policies, or due to the product's age as it may no longer be actively supported.
Here's what you can do to resolve this:
1. Try Searching for Drivers on HP's Main Support Page
Even though the dedicated support page for the HP 15-f387wm might show "no drivers available," you can still try searching for drivers on HP's main support page or by using the HP Support Assistant. Sometimes, older drivers are located in different sections, or updates may be available elsewhere.
- HP Support Assistant: This tool helps automatically detect and download drivers, including UEFI and BIOS updates. You can download it from HP's official site.
2. Use Windows Update
Windows Update can sometimes find the necessary drivers for your system, particularly for basic functions such as audio, graphics, networking, and even BIOS/UEFI updates. Here’s how to check:
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Update & Security.
- Select Check for Updates. If there are any updates available, including drivers, they will be listed under optional updates.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Not helpful at all. The drivers and BIOS files are missing for this model on the HP support page.
I am looking for the latest BIOS file for the 15-F387WM. Where is it? Why isn't it showing on the product support page? WIndows update doesn't give you the latest BIOS file. Come on HP you can do better than this....

Hi @IslandGetaway, @Azucho98,

As I see that the software and drivers are missing for you laptop on the HP support site.

I am so sorry that you did not receive an answer to your question. HP Notebook System BIOS Update (AMD Processors) Version F.45 (dated June 11, 2020) is the latest release for the HP 15-f387wm. (I have owned this machine since 2019 and distinctly remember installing this UEFI release in 2020, as it seemed to resolve an issue with Microsoft’s Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) in Windows 10 that had been reported.)
Neither HP PC Hardware Diagnostics 2.6.4.0 nor the HP Support
Assistant 9.39.17.0 (sp155262) detect for download this F.45 release. (In fact, HP Support Assistant actually has UEFI update scanning disabled by default, which I discovered when trying to update the UEFI from F.37 on another HP 15-f387wm machine I own. Scanning for UEFI updates in HP Support Assistant can be enabled through Application Settings, Advanced settings, then Recommended updates. Nevertheless, this did not provide me with the update.)
I do not have the SoftPaq for F.45, but I do have the one for F.44 (sp92728). You are requesting the latest release and I will start another topic(s) here and elsewhere in an effort to assist you, myself, and others.
