HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15-ds1003ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been trying for weeks now to find the right type of rubber feet for my laptop to replace. I'm already frustrated enough that they've come off just barely a year after purchase, and I have been trying to get this fixed for months. In that time my warranty expired and I now cannot call support without the phone call coming with a fee.

Does ANYONE know where I can find these freaking things because It's driving me crazy. They're all either the wrong style, wrong size, or I just can't even see an image or description (other than a vague product name) that would help me make sure I'm buying the right product.

I tried to re-glue them in a non-superglue type, as they cover the screws that would be needed if I ever needed a repair, and as expected, the glue doesn't stick for long. The feet are now stretched out and do not fit exactly in the same spot they used to, so it's just best now to stop trying to re-glue it and to just replace them.

If it weren't for the fact that the rubber feet prevent the laptop from overheating and prevent the lifespan from being shortened, I would have just taken them off by now. It seems stupid that something so small, and easily detachable, would be SO HARD to find replacements of. You'd think this would be something at least listed on their product replacement websites.

If anyone knows the exact product name I can use, or a link to buy them from I would be very grateful.

One of the foot strips on my Spectre 13 Ultrabook was damaged and no longer had good adhesive properties after replacing the main battery.

I Googled the part. I did not want to spend $40.00 (US) on the strips.

I used my micrometer caliper to spec the part. My next step was online to Amazon.com and eBay to find something suitable.

That is also what I suggest that you do since it is no longer on the official market. Third party sellers are available.

I see the L53558-001 part number for sale at  C $65- $89.00 at Amazon. I refuse pay that much for the part.

I would sooner use an exacto knife on a larger one to make one that suited my purpose.

Thanks for the part number! When I search the product supply stores, it says they no longer sell it. The HP parts partner they listed, the only one in Canada, doesn't even carry the part either.

Any idea where I can find somewhere that carries this?

Oh my gosh that's so insanely expensive. I expected something like 10-20 dollars for two strips of rubber and adhesive

I found a different post from 2021 that you had attached a link to for the same part number, and they ship from the states. It's on sale for 38 USD rather than 51 (ouch).

I'll have to see if I can ask my friend if I can use their American Credit Card and just pay them equal equivalents in CAD to avoid the conversion rate fees if I used my Canadian Credit Card, and just pray that there isn't hidden shipping or customs fees awaiting me.

I think it's absolutely insane that they no longer carry parts for a computer that is barely over a year or two old... You'd expect this from computers that are like 5-10+ years old.. not newer ones.

If all else fails, I might just have to buy those square corner rubber feet and just ignore the two strips so that I can have some easy and cheap rubber feet that do the job. I'm trying to avoid that so it stays all nice and sleek, but I'm reaching that point of frustration that I might just do it xD

** actually scratch that. They wanted 60$ in shipping and that's just lowkey robbing people blind. I can see some DELL laptop feet on amazon that at first glance seem possibly good to use, I'll just have to measure out the length to make sure they're suitable. Might do some perusing at some electronics stores to see if they carry those parts more readily or not.

Thanks for all your help!
