HP Pavilion dv6-2021el Entertainment Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to install windows 10 but the instructions tell me:

"""Extract the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers to the USB flash drive
Download the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) drivers from the HP Software and Drivers web page and extract them to the USB flash drive.

Go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, then type your serial number, product key, or product name to search for the software and drivers for your computer model.

From the driver memory, download the Intel RST (RAID) driver to the desktop. Do not install the downloaded file.

Right-click the downloaded file, select Extract All, and extract the files to a folder on your computer.

Copy and paste the extracted files to the USB flash drive that you will use to install Windows 10.""""""

This is what it tells me to do but I can't find these drivers because the notebook is no longer supported. Where could I find these drivers?

So when you try to install Windows 10 the installer is telling you there is no hard drive? The instructions you quote are generally about getting Windows 10 to see some special hard drive setup like RAID which your computer does not have or an NVME SSD, which your computer also does not have.

I managed to solve it. I was wrong in searching for those drivers. Thanks for the support
