My fan is broken; loud noises and won’t run. Trying to find a replacement.

Chapter 3, page 26, item #7 is the fan part number.

 

Fan (includes cable)    HP Part # Fan (includes cable) 926845-001

 

You can buy the fan directly from HP at the link below...$17.12

I see a fan on eBay for a 15-cc129tx model for $9.00.  Ships from China.  That would use the same fan.

I waited a couple of days to reply and say thanks. I used every suggestion given by the contributor to my question, ordered the fan from HP Parts, expedited the order, received the fan today, installed and my laptop is back in action.
