How did you lose the ribbon to begin with?
And secondly, you will need to contact HP Support Directly (not in the forum) to obtain the part base on the "service tag" of your machine. The Service Tag will determine the specifications and the part number for the ribbon.

Thankyou! So my keyboard hasn’t been working so I had look and the keyboard ribbon had become disconnected, while I had it open I started to clean the fan. In the time of cleaning my fan and coming back my little nephew had came into my room and touched some things now I’ve looked everywhere and can’t see it

Well its always good practice to keep the things you take off in a case/box while labeling the boxes so that you know where to find them and where to put them back 🙂
Hope you have your machine fix soon!

Hi @Scottyd14
In the future, if you lose any parts,😀 you do not need to contact HP directly as advised above.
You can find the part number in the service manual for your notebook
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06172090
You can then perform an online search with part number or try HP parts store in your region.
Hope it helps,
David
