Where do I check the warranty on an HP-branded SSD?   I've done a web search and it shows **NOTHING**.   The warranty checker on this site is completely clueless when I try entering the serial number, or serial and model number.   Searching in THIS forum is no help either.

Hello @jelabarre

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

The warranty of an SSD drive is linked to the notebook warranty. The serial number (s/n) of the notebook in which the SSD drive was installed (on delivery) must be specified. The serial number (s/n) may only be communicated to HP, not here to the community !

Good luck

It's not an SSD from a notebook, it's a unit I bought in-store.  It's an HP product, and this is the HP website.   So therefore this site would be the logical place to look for warranty/support, and there is NOTHING here to tell me otherwise.

Hello @jelabarre

This information was missing at the beginning. Well, then you need to contact in-store. Have an invoice available.

Kind regards

So I can't check the status on the HP website, the way I could for any other storage vendor?   So I guess HP is pretty much useless then.   Thanks for nothing.
