Hello, I am in need of help.  I am going to plan to replace my hard drive since is has not been working right since it crashed back last month and was reset, then became increasingly slow and non responsive. I like to know where the hard drive/cmos and ram are located so I can get the numbers off them to replace them.

 

My laptop is a HP 15-g099nr.

Hi:

 

You can install any 2.5" notebook hard drive you want.  You can install any compatible memory you want.

 

I suggest you upgrade to a better performing, normally more reliable solid state drive (SSD).
