Hp probook 455 g10

I bought a new probook 455 g10 and i wanna install a secondary m.2 drive. I dont know where to find the slot and i can't find it in the user manual. Could you also send a link to some compatable drives that will fit in the secondary slot.

Its specs

         https://www.hp.com/emea_africa-en/products/laptops/product-details/product-specifications/2101845295

It ONLY has 1 M.2 slot for storage which is 1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC SSD. It does NOT support dual storage.

According to the 455 G10 Quickspecs, page 6 at the link below, the secondary M.2 drives were optional features and can only be used for storage.

GetDocument.aspx (hp.com)

Also, they are of the smaller M.2 2230 form factor so my assumption is that if the notebook does not come with a WWAN card, that slot might be the one used for the secondary M.2 SSD, or if a totally different motherboard is used that has another M.2 2230 SSD slot.

I can't get the HP 455 G10 support page to work in order to find the service manual to see exactly how the secondary drive is installed.

Thanks. HP always has few different documents for one line of products with NO update information. The manual came out around March 2023 says (on the top of page 2)  the M.2 2230 slot is for  a 2nd solid-state drive.

And heaps of confusions on the top page 47. I've got a feeling M.2 slot for the secondary storage shares with WWAN module as shown on page 45 (we can only use one or another, not BOTH at the same time).

Regards.

Thanks for all your help guys, so is the wwan card the one in the corner and is it safely removable?

You're very welcome.

Now that I can read the manual, I'm not sure the WWAN card slot supports the 2nd NVMe SSD.

If you look at chapter 3, page 47 of the manual, there is a Solid-state drive support kit   N00354-001

The note for that kit indicates:

NOTE: The solid-state drive support kit is available as spare part number N00354-001. It includes 2nd SSD holder, bracket, and rubber.
