Hello,

I bought my ssd 1T M2 NVMe to install in this laptop, however, where is the socket?

My laptop doesn't have optane,  only 1 TB HDD, Am I able to by the socket for SSD as I saw in the manual and install or this motherboard DOESN'T support additional SSD? 

 

Please, someone with technical expertise at could you help me?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community. 

 

After reading your post, I did go through the Maintenance and Service Guide of your product and found that your computer supports M.2, SATA-3, solid-state drives and your computer does not support Optane memory (Intel 7th and 8th generation processors (refer to 2 Chapter 1 Product description and 43.9-cm (17.3-in) display speciƭcations 85)
