My keyboard is raised in the area of the L key and I was wondering if it was the battery.? I would love if someone could tell me if this is where the battery is located👍🏻

You do not tell us the full model of the laptop but on laptops with an internal battery the battery is generally located under and above the palmrest and across most of the width of the laptop. So yes a swelling battery can cause the keyboard to bulge up at the "L" key. Also kind of depends on where the case screws are located. There is not much other explanation for a raised keyboard except a swelling battery. Imperative that you replace it ASAP before it causes damage.
