HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (794H8AV)

I just purchased a pavilion that has a 128 gb UFS drive I would like to put a larger drive in it. Problem is I am unable to locate anything resembling a storage device inside on near the motherboard. Any help would be appriciated. I have been working on computers for many years however this configuration is new to me.

Hi:

That type of drive is not upgradable as it is an integral part of the motherboard.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

There's not much information out there yet.

Check to see if your notebook has a M.2 SSD slot on the motherboard that you may be able to use to install either a NVMe or SATA M.2 SSD.

What I don't know is if there is a M.2 slot, is it enabled since the notebook has a UFS drive.

Here's the service teardown video.

The M.2 SSD removal and replacement procedure starts at minute 3:03.
